2003 Projects
We are now a two shed organisation. A big black shed for storage and workshops, sets, props, costume and a music rehearsal room and a big green shed for rehearsal and video / media studio. The floor is down in the rehearsal section and the first piece of the media studio is almost ready to be set up. The rehearsal section will be self contained with dressing rooms and showers and will be available for hire short and long term. The studio section will also be self contained and will have a main media room, an upstairs open area a small sound studio and a blue screen filming area. It will also be able to be used as backstage if required for a show or work in progress. We had a wee taster with the Nub Ball which inaugaurated the space before xmas.

Always fancied shooting a short film well here's your chance.

Announcing the first Nub Film Festival. It is to be held at `Nub Central` on Dec11th 2004. Short (5 mins) film/video submissions will be accepted up to Nov 21st. There will be a host of categories, most of which have not yet been finalised and of course there will be awards, lots of glitterati and oodles of stars, entertainment, edible and thist quenching delicacies , (and thanks here to Diageo for the complimentary whisky at the last ball), music and of course dancing.
`State of the Art` is our next project in development. Its a black box illusion show with a central performer and two `invisibles`. State of the Art it might be but the state of the Art is not all it could be and maybe its time to declare it, the State of the Art that is.
